Southern Arizona ChapterSDA
To promote the exchange of ideas and to educate its members in the related disciplines of design firm administration.
It takes a team of dedicated volunteers and a great group of sponsors to make SACSDA successful. We are fortunate to have some of the best companies and employees dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our group.
For over 46 years, the Society for Design Administration (SDA), has promoted education and best practices in management and professional standards of design firm administrative personnel. SDA Membership stretches across the United States and Canada and is composed of personnel in the design profession, including architecture, engineering, construction, landscape, and interior design. The Southern Arizona Chapter is composed of members from firms within the City of Tucson and surrounding areas.
Membership is composed of people who represent the administrative segment of design professional and construction offices: office managers; human resource staff; records managers; controllers; marketing and PR managers and coordinators; executive and administrative assistants who are employed in design and construction firms; design school professionals; state licensing boards; and, other related disciplines.
SACSDA is dedicated to the educational and professional standards of support staff in design and construction firms across the United States and Canada. Through the exchange of ideas, methods and materials, SDA provides these learning tools for the professional.
Administrators of A/E and construction firms throughout Tucson organized the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Society for Design Administration in July 1996. We were the first in Arizona! Please review this website to learn more about us.
