For over 46 years, the Society for Design Administration (SDA), has promoted education and best practices in management and professional standards of design firm administrative personnel. SDA Membership stretches across the United States and Canada and is composed of personnel in the design profession, including architecture, engineering, construction, landscape, and interior design. The Southern Arizona chapter is composed of members from firms within the City of Tucson and surrounding areas.

SACSDA is dedicated to the educational and professional standards of support staff in design and construction firms across the United States and Canada. Through the exchange of ideas, methods and materials, SDA provides these learning tools for the professional.
Membership is composed of people who represent the administrative segment of design professional and construction offices: office managers; human resource staff; records managers; controllers; marketing or PR managers and coordinators; executive or administrative assistants who are employed in design and construction firms; design school professionals; state licensing boards; and, other related disciplines. SDA is dedicated to the design and construction profession and welcomes the opportunity to share its expertise.
Administrators of A/E and construction firms throughout Tucson organized the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Society for Design Administration in July 1996. We are the first in Arizona! We meet at noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Viscount Suite Hotel.
